Text on Path allows you to flow text along any vector shape - circles, curves, waves, or custom paths. Create circular logos, wavy headlines, and decorative typography effects.
Creating Text on Path
- Draw or select a path (line, curve, circle, etc.)
- Select the Text on Path tool from Draw Mode toolbar
- Click on the path where text should start
- Type your text
- Text flows along the path
Alternative Method
- Create a text element
- Create or select a path
- Select both text and path
- Right-click and choose "Attach Text to Path"
Path Text Properties
Start Position
- Drag the start marker along the path
- Or enter percentage in Properties panel
- 0% = path start, 100% = path end
Alignment
- Left - Text starts from position marker
- Center - Text centered at position
- Right - Text ends at position
Offset
- Vertical Offset - Distance above/below path
- Positive values move text above
- Negative values move text below
Flip
- Flip text to inside/outside of curves
- Useful for circular text
- Toggle in Properties panel

Top of Circle
- Draw a circle
- Apply text to path
- Position at 50% (top center)
- Align center
Bottom of Circle
- Apply text to circle
- Enable Flip
- Position at 50% (now bottom)
- Adjust vertical offset
Full Circle Text
- Use tracking to space letters evenly
- Adjust font size to fit circumference
- Use path start percentage to rotate

Edit Text Content
- Double-click to enter text edit mode
- Edit text normally
- Click outside to exit

- Select the text-on-path object
- Double-click to edit the underlying path

Detaching Text
- Select the text-on-path object
- Right-click and choose "Detach from Path"
