The Export Preview dialog lets you see exactly what will be exported before committing to a file save. Verify transparency, quality, and cropping before exporting.
Opening Export Preview
Click the "Export Preview..." button in the right sidebar Export section.
Features
- Live Preview - See the exported result at the selected format and scale
- Format Selection - Switch between PNG, JPG, SVG, and WebP to compare output
- Scale Preview - View how the export looks at different resolutions (1x, 2x, 3x)
- File Size Estimate - See approximate file size before exporting
- Quick Export - Export directly from the preview dialog once satisfied
Workflow
- Select the element(s) you want to export
- Click "Export Preview..." in the Export section
- Review the preview at different formats and scales
- Check the estimated file size
- Click Export to save, or close to adjust settings
Tips
- Compare formats to find the best balance of quality and file size
- Preview at multiple scales to ensure assets look crisp on all devices
- Use preview to verify transparency is correct before exporting PNG
- Check SVG output to ensure vector paths are clean
