Saving Your Work

Save (⌘/Ctrl + S)

Saves the current file. If this is a new, unsaved file, you'll be prompted to choose a location and filename.

Save As (⌘/Ctrl + Shift + S)

Always prompts for a new location and filename, creating a copy of your work.

Best Practice

Save frequently! Press ⌘/Ctrl + S after making important changes. While Azyrom has autosave, manual saves ensure you never lose work.

Opening Files

Open (⌘/Ctrl + O)

Opens a file browser to select a .azr file to open.

Recent Files

Access recently opened files from File → Recent Files. This shows your last 10 opened designs for quick access.

Drag & Drop

You can also drag a .azr file directly onto the Azyrom window to open it.

The Azyrom File Format

Azyrom files are JSON-based and contain:

Portability

Azyrom files are completely self-contained. All images are embedded in the file, so you can share .azr files without worrying about broken image links.

Autosave

Azyrom automatically saves a recovery copy of your work every 2 minutes. If the application crashes, you'll be prompted to recover unsaved work when you reopen.

Autosave Location

Unsaved Changes

A dot (•) appears in the window title when you have unsaved changes. If you try to close the window or quit the application with unsaved changes, you'll be prompted to save.

Important

Always save your work before closing! While autosave provides crash recovery, it's not a replacement for manual saves.
