Gradients create smooth transitions between two or more colors. Azyrom supports linear, radial, and angular gradients for fills and strokes.
Gradient Types
- Linear - Colors transition along a straight line
- Radial - Colors radiate from a center point outward
- Angular - Colors sweep around a center point (conic gradient)
Creating a Gradient
- Select an element
- In the Properties panel, click the fill color swatch
- Choose the gradient type (Linear, Radial, or Angular)
- Add and position color stops
- Adjust the gradient angle or position
Color Stops
Color stops define where colors appear in the gradient:
- Click on the gradient bar to add a new stop
- Drag stops to reposition them
- Double-click a stop to change its color
- Click and drag a stop off the bar to delete it
- Each stop has an opacity setting
Linear Gradient Controls
- Angle - Direction of the gradient (0-360 degrees)
- Start/End Points - Drag handles on canvas to adjust
- Hold
Shiftwhile dragging to snap to 45-degree increments
Radial Gradient Controls
- Center Point - Where the gradient originates
- Radius - Size of the gradient
- Aspect Ratio - Create elliptical gradients
Angular Gradient Controls
- Center Point - Rotation center
- Start Angle - Where the sweep begins
- Great for pie charts and color wheels
Gradient on Strokes
- Gradients can be applied to stroke colors too
- Linear gradients follow the stroke path
- Useful for creating metallic or 3D effects
Tips
- Use 2-3 colors for subtle, professional gradients
- Add mid-tone stops to control transition smoothness
- Reduce opacity at edges for glow effects
- Use the eyedropper to sample colors from images
- Save frequently used gradients to the presets
