Add Google Analytics, custom tracking scripts, and gain insights into your site visitors and their behavior.
Adding Analytics
Access analytics settings in the Site Settings panel:
- Open Site Settings from the left sidebar
- Navigate to the Analytics section
- Paste your tracking code or ID
- Save and publish to enable tracking
Supported Analytics Platforms
- Google Analytics 4 - Enter your Measurement ID (G-XXXXXXXXXX)
- Google Universal Analytics - Enter your Tracking ID (UA-XXXXXXXXX-X)
- Plausible - Privacy-focused analytics
- Fathom - Simple, privacy-first analytics
- Custom Scripts - Any tracking code via embed
Google Analytics Setup
- Create a Google Analytics account at analytics.google.com
- Create a new property for your website
- Copy the Measurement ID (starts with G-)
- Paste into Azyrom Analytics settings
- Publish your site to activate tracking
Custom Tracking Code
Add any tracking script via the Embed Panel:
- Open the Custom Code settings
- Add tracking code to the Head section
- Scripts run on every page automatically
Event Tracking
Track custom events and conversions:
- Button clicks and interactions
- Form submissions
- Scroll depth
- File downloads
- Video plays
Privacy Considerations
- Display a cookie consent banner if required
- Only load analytics after consent
- Consider privacy-focused alternatives (Plausible, Fathom)
- Document your data collection in a privacy policy
- Configure IP anonymization when available
Testing Analytics
- Use Google Tag Assistant to verify setup
- Check Real-Time reports for live data
- Test in incognito mode to see fresh sessions
- Verify events fire correctly
