Learn how to connect your own domain name to your published site and configure HTTPS certificates for secure connections.
Domain Options
- Subdomain - yoursite.azr.app (free)
- Custom Domain - www.yourdomain.com
- Apex Domain - yourdomain.com (no www)
Connecting a Custom Domain
- Open your site's Settings panel
- Navigate to the Domains section
- Click "Add Custom Domain"
- Enter your domain name
- Copy the DNS records provided
- Add records to your DNS provider
- Wait for DNS propagation (up to 48 hours)
- Verify domain in Azyrom
DNS Configuration
Configure these records at your DNS provider:
- A Record - Points domain to our IP address
- CNAME - Points subdomain (www) to our servers
- AAAA - IPv6 support (optional)
SSL Certificates
Automatic HTTPS for your domain:
- SSL certificates are provisioned automatically
- Uses Let's Encrypt for free certificates
- Auto-renewal before expiration
- Force HTTPS redirect option
Apex vs WWW Domain
- Apex domain: yourdomain.com (requires A record)
- WWW subdomain: www.yourdomain.com (uses CNAME)
- Set your preferred version as primary
- Configure redirect from non-primary to primary
Multiple Domains
- Add multiple domains to one site
- Set primary domain for SEO
- Secondary domains redirect to primary
- Useful for country-specific domains
Troubleshooting
- Domain not connecting - Check DNS records are correct
- SSL not working - Wait for DNS propagation
